Summer 2009

Welcome to the official on-line home of the Will O'Connor Live Acoustic Show. For seven years I've been performing live in Hoboken, NJ, and a few other places around the world.

Allright, so my dreams of keeping this site more up-to-date have truly been just that... dreams.

So, it's been WAY too long... and so much has been happening.

Rebecca and I are now Mr. & Mrs. O'Connor. We tied the knot in late October and just yesterday crossed the eight month mark. If you'd like to see some pictures of our happy day, our photographer, Scott Bush, put up a slide show of some of our wedding photos in his blog.

Married life is great and we've been having a lot of fun. This summer we'll be returning to Ardmore, Co. Waterford to visit with friends and enjoy the sea air. In the fall, we'll be visiting Cape Cod for some seaside relaxation on this side of the pond.

There have also been some new music collaborations going on. Late last year, with the help of our friends at Duffy's, we created Music For Grownups, a group of professional and semi-professional musicians who perform in various configurations of duos and trios to a small but appreciative crowd. We try to keep the music selection eclectic and play off each other to figure out what works best. We want to create an evening that's interesting and enjoyable to listen to, but that's also ideal for creativity and collaboration among our musicians. It happens on the first and third Wednesday of every month, but if you're not sure, just check the calendar.

As a heads-up, Fridays at Moran's are on vacation for the Summer, but fear not... when the fall comes around again, so will regular weekly live music. I'll have added a bunch of new tunes by then, so I'm sure we'll have a blast.

As always, don't be a stranger... you know I love to see you. Check back here again soon too. I know you might not believe me, and with good reason of course, but I am going to try and add a few new features to the website, like music downloads and further flesh out the "About Me" page.

I do try to keep the calendar up-to-date, so see if you can find a good night to come down and relax with a little live music and a few drinks.
